I bred and showed Italian Greyhounds for about 17 years and I was blessed with some lovely dogs, some heart-stopping wins and many wonderful friends. Possibly my most treasured win was with Kimi at Madison Square Garden at the Westminster Kennel Club show. (Sigh) What a grand way to finish a championship!!!

I'm now showing Scottish Deerhounds, Champion "Duncan" and Grand Champion "Brie". Check out my dog pages by clicking HERE.

I enjoy reading fantasy/science fiction books, especially Mercedes Lackey, Melanie Rawn, Robert Jordan and Katherine Kurtz. I collect old animal management/veterinary texts, as well as books by Walter Farely (Black Stallion) and Albert Payson Terhune (Lad: A Dog).

A GREEN Dragon Lies Beneath!

I also collect dragon items. Statuettes, mostly, but not exclusively. I even have a dragon tattooed on my forearm so I could always have part of my collection with me. Well, that and it was a 40th birthday present from a friend. A dumb thing to do? Maybe, but I like it, and given the dragon's traditional "protector" connotation, maybe it was fate.
